Th. Manorama Devi a 32-year-old lady, a separatist suspect, was picked by the forces of the 17th Assam Rifles from her home on 11thJuly, 2004 issuing an arrest-memo. Her dead body was later found near a hill-lock under suspicious circumstance. People largely believed she was raped and later shot. From there onwards people throughout the state started holding protest and agitation against the excesses of the security forces committed under the cover of Armed Forces Special Power Act, 1958.
This film is a diary of events, which took place in Manipur from the day Th. Manorama Devi died, till a youth dies setting himself on fire, protesting against the controversial Armed Forces Special Power Act, 1958.

A documentary intervention on the prevailing customs and traditions of a community called Kambalathu Naicker hailing in the central parts of Tamil Nadu. Out there in wilderness lives this community whose customs of marriages leave you with a larger social understanding. These questionable customs continuously enjoying social approvals in the communities are the focus of this film intervention. The film analyses child marriages and how women and children become victims of religious beliefs and practices.

The film reveals the status of Dalit population, particularly women in India with south Indian village Siruthondamadevi as a classic example. This film triggered a successful video participatory movement which ultimately demanded the immediate government intervention, securing protection to women who were harassed in the name of caste in the documented village.
