Chukker Around Polo

Synopsis

Chukker is a film about the fascinating and ancient sport of polo in India – its history, its culture, its players, its spectators, the life that surrounds it and the intense passion the sport thrives in. The film starts from Ladakh (Kashmir) and Manipur (North East) where the game is still played as it was 2000 years ago, and then moves to the polo of today in Delhi, Jodhpur, Jaipur and Patialla where the sport lives in glamour, media excitement, Army honor and faded aristocracy.
